KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a bid to to encourage the purchase of more locally made gift items by corporate Jamaica, the Ministry of Tourism’s Tourism Linkages Network will host the second staging of its highly successful event – ‘Christmas in July’.


Over 110 local producers of authentic craft, gifts and souvenirs will showcase a wide selection of items to buyers from the hospitality sector and corporate Jamaica in general who are looking for suitable gifts for clients and staff.

Among the items which will be on display to facilitate early purchasing decisions are ceramics, office and home accessories, paintings, bags, processed foods and aromatherapy/spa products.

‘Christmas in July’ is a collaborative effort of the Tourism Linkages Network and its partners, the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association (JMA), Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC), and the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA).
