A small coralline island to the north of the main inner island archipelago in Seychelles – with its 25 private cottages, farm-to-table dining concept, and vibrant sustainability and conservation programs – has been nominated for awards in three categories: Best Scenic Environment, Best Private Island, and Best Hideaway.

Seychellois-owned Denis Island is once again in contention for 3 potential World Luxury Hotel Awards, the hotel has announced.

Denis Private Island is no stranger to the World Luxury Hotel Awards list, having won the Best Scenic Environment Award for 2 years running in 2014 and 2015, and Best Private Island in 2015 as well.

According to Group Branding, PR & Communication Manager Nicole St Ange, Denis may not fit the typical mold of a luxury property, but that doesn’t stop guests from treating the island experience as a luxury in itself.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognizes properties for earning the respect of guests and industry players alike, by awarding hotels in over 60 categories, as voted for by the public.

Voting is now open and takes place online.

Winners are expected to be announced in September.
