Eat! BRUSSELS, drink! BORDEAUX festival is growing, adding more iconic chefs

BRUSSELS, Belgium - For four days, on 8, 9, 10 and 11 September, the full range of Brussels' Cuisine will be paired with Bordeaux Wines in the Parc de Bruxelles. Fifteen Brussels' chefs will take turns to put their culinary arts on display with a signature dish.

The bill of fare will be rounded off by a series of chefs from cities and regions that have bilateral agreements with the Brussels Region. Finally, not less than 50 wineries and Bordeaux merchants will travel to Brussels to showcase their wines and offer a wine pairing with gastronomic dishes by famous local chefs. A brand new concept that promises dazzling culinary discoveries!

Diversity, quality and creativity are the watchwords for this fifth edition of the festival. A total of fifteen chefs have been invited by to install pop-up kitchens in the Parc de Bruxelles.

The first names can now be announced: Karen Torosyan (Bozar Brasserie), Joël Geismar (Garage à Manger), Pino Zizza (Il Passatempo), Julien Van Den Neste (Jour de Fête), Denis Delcampe (Le Tournant), Line Couvreur (Les Filles), David Martin (Martin Bonheur), Constantin Erinkoglou (Notos), Valérie Lepla (Pistolet Original), Ugo Federico & Francesco Cury (Racines), Alex Joseph (Rouge Tomate)… Other names will be announced soon. Each chef will offer one dish per day at the fixed price of 9 euros.

And, as tradition dictates, the Bordeaux wines, the festival's indispensable partners, will be rounding off this gastronomic adventure. No fewer than 50 vintners and wine merchants from Bordeaux will be on hand to show off the wealth and variety of the Bordeaux appellations to the public. Also, a wine pairing specially designed for the occasion will be suggested for each dish presented at the festival.
