The 100th edition of Open de France is a great opportunity for Mauritius to maintain visibility in the golf segment with its French clientele, which is the tourist market that registers more arrivals in Mauritius.

The Tourism Board of Mauritius will be back at the Open de France from June 30 to July 3, 2016. For this 100th edition that will take place in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, 3 hotels (Constance Hรดtels & Resorts, VLH Resorts, and The Residence Mauritius) and tour operator, Green du Monde, will join the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) at stand no 18. The tourist office has invested in a 25m2 stand during the 4 days of the event. The aim is to promote Mauritius as a destination of choice for French golf lovers.

The French golfer, Raphael Jacquelin, will be at the Mauritius stand to make a random draw which will designate 2 players to win a ticket to Mauritius, offered by Air Mauritius, in collaboration with Green du Monde and the Tourism Board.

One of the key objectives of Mauritius is to maintain its position, year after year, as the best golf destination in the Indian Ocean.
