FRANKFURT, Germany – Russian airline Aeroflot will be offering a new direct service from Frankfurt (FRA) to Kazan (KZN) in western Russia, starting June 17. The twice-weekly service will be operated with an Airbus A320. In addition to Aeroflot’s service to Moscow, the new route is the airline’s second direct connection between Russia and FRA.

The new service links Frankfurt with one of the most beautiful regions in Russia. Located about 750 kilometers to the east of Moscow in European Russia, Kazan is also an important industrial city and transportation hub. For travelers, the city on the Volga river offers numerous cultural and architectural highlights. As the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia’s eighth biggest city, Kazan is a melting pot, where people from different religions and cultures live together peacefully.

Flights with Aeroflot can be booked online at common travel platforms, as well as with travel agencies, or directly on the airline’s website. At Frankfurt Airport, Aeroflot can be found in Terminal 2, Concourse D, counters 805 to 807.
