Air Transat and its flight attendants reach tentative agreement

MONTREAL, Canada – Air Transat and its flight attendants have reached a tentative agreement on renewal of the collective agreement that expired last October.

MONTREAL, Canada – Air Transat and its flight attendants have reached a tentative agreement on renewal of the collective agreement that expired last October. The agreement, whose approval will be recommended by the union executive, will be submitted to the flight attendants soon.


“We have reached a reasonable agreement and we are confident that it will be approved by all the flight attendants,” said Jean-Franรงois Lemay, General Manager of Air Transat.

Air Transat is a business unit of Transat, an integrated international tour operator with more than 60 destination countries, that distributes products in over 50 countries. A holiday travel specialist, Transat operates mainly in Canada and Europe, as well as in the Caribbean, Mexico and the Mediterranean Basin.
