Azerbaijani beaches ready to welcome guests

Beach season in Azerbaijan officially starts in early June and lasts until the end of September. However, in fact, warm weather of the late spring make swimming at most beaches of the country possible already beginning from May 20. The recreation and entertainment centres located along the Caspian seashore in Azerbaijan are functioning starting from that period. Recreation in Azerbaijan will be to the taste of everyone who loves the sun, the sea and the sand, picnics on the lap of nature and promenades in forests, swimming under the waterfalls and equestrian tours. Among the most popular resort and beach areas of the country is the Absheron peninsula in the capital city and Nabran, located 220 km north of Baku.

The most popular beaches of Absheron – Mardakan, Zagulba, Bilgah, Buzovna, Nardaran, Shikhov, Novkhany, Pirshaghi stand out for their well-developed infrastructure with a range of hotels of various categories, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

Nabran is another well-developed recreation area in Azerbaijan, famous far beyond the country. Its virgin forests neighbour the sand beaches, making it especially different.
