The five-star Corinthia Hotel London has been named ‘Ultratravel Collection Hotel of the Year’ at the prestigious 2016 ULTRA Awards, held in London on May 23, 2016. This award, a new category at the annual ULTRA Awards, is a recognition of the Corinthia flagship’s position among the world’s finest hotels.
“We are so honored to be recognized in the company of the world’s most luxurious hotels, through our ongoing partnership with the Ultratravel collection. Corinthia Hotel London, now in its fifth year of business, has firmly established itself in the global luxury hotel market, and we intend to do the same with more hotels around the world. Our thanks must go to our guests and their travel advisors, and to our colleagues at the hotel for executing our company’s philosophy of the Craftsmanship of Care,” said Simon Naudi, CEO of Corinthia Hotels.
Corinthia recently also announced the acquisition and redevelopment of the landmark Grand Hotel Astoria in Brussels, to be relaunched as a Corinthia Hotel in 2019.
The annual ULTRA awards ceremony celebrates the best luxury hotels, airlines, tour operators and cruise companies. An annual survey, The ULTRAS invites readers of The Telegraph’s luxury-travel supplement Ultratravel and The Telegraph’s website to honor their favorites.
