WASHINGTON, DC – GoJet Flight Attendants today joined the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA). In a union representation election that concluded today, the National Mediation Board (NMB) announced that 83 percent of the voters elected AFA as their collective bargaining representative.

“We are so proud to welcome our sisters and brothers at GoJet who chose to join with AFA Flight Attendants around the world. Flight Attendants took ownership of their future and demanded a strong voice at work. We look forward to the contributions GoJet Flight Attendants will bring to our union and continue AFA’s 70-year-long tradition of Flight Attendants working together to raise the bar for our entire profession,” said AFA International President Sara Nelson.

Headquartered in Bridgeton, Missouri, GoJet Airlines operates more than 220 daily flights to over 60 destinations and has codeshare agreements with United Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

“GoJet Flight Attendants will now use the support and resources of AFA to negotiate a first contract with protections they deserve,” added Nelson.
