“The World Travel Market is one of the most important annual travel and tourism events, and eTurboNews is proud to announce it will continue its year-long media partnership with WTM,” said eTN publisher Juergen T. Steinmetz, adding, “eTurboNews has a global subscriber base of 230,000 and the potential reach of 1.3 million, including 17,000 journalists. Our publications are produced as soon as the news comes out, and is the perfect media distribution network for WTM.”
There are some exciting and important changes to World Travel Market London 2016. Based on exhibitor and visitor feedback, this leading global event for the travel industry will be revamped as a 3-day event.
The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 7 pm on all 3 days. Buyers and visitors will need to be invited by exhibitors on Monday, November 7, to gain entry to WTM London. On Tuesday, November 8 and Wednesday, November 9, the event will be open for everybody who works in the travel and tourism industry.
The event’s program will run across all 3 days of WTM London with the bulk of the content taking place on Tuesday, November 8, and Wednesday, November 9. The key change for WTM London 2016 is that WTM World Responsible Tourism Day will take place on Tuesday, swapping days with the UNWTO and WTM Ministers’ Summit, which will now take place on Wednesday.
Once again, the WTM Speed Networking for buyers and exhibitors will take place on the Monday morning before the exhibition floor opens, and the WTM Bloggers’ Speed Networking will move to Wednesday morning.
A new amphitheater for up to 300 people will be built on the exhibition floor, along with the WTM Global Stage which will host the majority of the event’s program content on the exhibition floor. The event will conclude with the WTM Festivals.
