ATLANTA, GA – The plane crashed, killing the pilot, during an air show at Atlanta’s DeKalb Peachtree Airport on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened at the end of the air show. Authorities say a stunt plane crashed while performing aerial acrobatics.


It is believed that the pilot was the only person aboard the plane. His identity was not released, pending notification of next of kin.

At this point there is no information available on what caused the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
