Germany's Woehrl interested in TUI's German airline, FTD reports

German businessman Hans Rudolf Woehrl is interested in buying a majority in TUI AG's German budget airline unit TUIfly, the Financial Times Deutschland reported today, citing an interview with Woehrl.

``I would like to own an airline again,'' Woehrl told the newspaper.

Woehrl bought British Airways Plc's former German unit DBA for 1 euro ($1.35 ) in 2003 and sold the airline to Air Berlin Plc. for almost 100 million euros three years later, according to the FTD.
