The Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism said that he was thankful to see a dedicated group of the islands’ tourism professionals at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai and said that he complimented their interest for the Middle East and GCC countries to the press he was meeting.

Seychelles says that it needs to be visible at the Arabian Tourism Trade Fair (ATM) in Dubai to support the airlines of Emirates, Etihad, and Air Seychelles who are providing great air lift to the islands from the Middle East and the GCC countries. “We have more planes from that part of the world than from any other tourism source market, and later this year, Qatar Airways will be adding another seven flights every week. It was, therefore, important for us as the government to be present alongside our private sector partners who believe in that tourism market and who are working alongside the Tourism Board to not only consolidate it, but also to ensure we claim our fair share of this big market,” said Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, who is personally leading his islands’ delegation to Dubai.

Minister St.Ange is being accompanied by Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, and Maria Morel, the Senior Marketing Executive, and they have been joined by Ahmed Fathallah, the Tourism Board’s Regional Manager Dubai; Aliette Esther, the Tourism Attache at the Seychelles Abu Dhabi Embassy; and Milanie Manalo, the Senior Account Executive at the Dubai Office.

From the private sector, Air Seychelles is being represented by Cindy Vidot, Head of Sales; Brigitte Esparon, Marketing Manager; and Nicky Bijlaney, Business Development Manager; Eden Bleu Hotel is being represented by Laura Lotter, Marketing Manager; and Charmian Drotske, Training Manager; Kempinski Seychelles Resort is represented by Ahmed Khedr, Director of Sales; Mason’s Travel by Jessica Giroux, Sales Manager, and Lenny Alvis, General Manager; the Savoy Resort & Spa Seychelles by Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Director of Sales & Marketing; The H-Resort Beau Vallon Beach by Isabelle Lestrat, Director of Sales & Marketing and Dominique Richard-Hebert, General Manager; and Pure Seychelles Hotels by Eddie D’Offay, Marketing Director.
