A Thai Airways flight from Jakarta to Bangkok turned out to be a nightmare. Thai Airways President Charamporn Jotikasthira said: “The company apologizes to passengers who were involved in the incident.”
The Thai news site Khaosod reported what happened. Passengers were thrown from their seats flying to the roof. People cut their heads and pictures showing bloody seats and posted to social media shed light on what passengers must have gone through on this flight.
A passenger tweeted: “That was THE most scariest flight of my life. Two hours in, and we had awful turbulence and no notice.”
Some passengers had to get medical treatment in nearby hospitals. Thai Airways agreed to cover the cost.
