Hilton London Metropole announces two new senior appointments

LONDON, England – Hilton London Metropole has announced the appointment of Omer Lang as Director of Operations and Georgina Bansal as Director of Sales to its senior management team.

LONDON, England – Hilton London Metropole has announced the appointment of Omer Lang as Director of Operations and Georgina Bansal as Director of Sales to its senior management team. Both bring with them extensive experience in the hospitality industry and a proven record of success.


Omer Lang, Director of Operations

With a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Business Management from Birmingham University, Lang has 17 years of experience with Hilton Worldwide in a variety of commercial and operational roles in the U.K. and overseas. As Director of Business Development, Hilton Israel, he led a team of 70 sales, reservations, revenue, PR and marketing team members and was responsible for the pre-opening of Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem, voted Best Hotel in the Middle East in the Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards. Married with three children, Lang is a keen traveller, whose hobbies include basketball, free diving and kayaking. On accepting the new role at Hilton London Metropole, Mr Lang said, “I am honoured to be part of the Hilton London Metropole team, the biggest Hilton hotel in Europe, and look forward to the challenges and successes that lie ahead.”

Georgina Bansal, Director of Sales

Since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in Business Economics, Georgina has gained over 10 years of sales experience with major hotel brands in the U.K. and internationally, as well as with HRS (Hotel Reservation Service) as Corporate Sales Manager. She joins Hilton London Metropole from Holiday Inn Regents Park, where she was Director of Sales & Marketing with responsibility for the hotel’s local, national and global accounts and brings with her a record of new business success and a real passion for sales. In her spare time, Bansal keeps fit with badminton, squash and yoga and has completed three half marathons. She is also a charity volunteer for a local non-profit organisation and has travelled extensively. Of her new role at Hilton London Metropole, she said, “I am very excited to be joining one of the world’s most famous hotel brands and can’t wait to bring my experience to this exciting new challenge.”
