SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The United States Air Force has selected San Francisco Fleet Week as one of only 23 events in North America to host the most sought after Tactical Demonstration Team in the country, the F-22 Raptor. The Demonstration Team makes its appearance on October 7, 8 & 9 at San Francisco Fleet Week joining the headlining U.S. Navy Blue Angels demonstration squadron.

The F-22 Raptor will perform air maneuvers that demonstrate the super maneuverability of the stealth combat aircraft. These demonstrations include the power loop, split, and tail slide, as well as a high speed pass and dedication pass. These maneuvers are based on those designed for combat operations, but are performed at much lower altitudes at air shows.

“With the F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team joining our already stellar lineup, San Francisco Fleet Week will have the strongest air show lineup in the country,” said Stephen Teatro, executive producer of the San Francisco Fleet Week.
