WASHINGTON, DC – “Any program should be continually evaluated and evolved with the changing environment.

WASHINGTON, DC – “Any program should be continually evaluated and evolved with the changing environment. When it comes to national security policy, there is no such thing as a perfect, finished product that stands for all time.” This is what US Travel Association representative Jonathan Grella said when issuing about a statement about the recent visa waiver improvements.

US Travel Association Executive Vice President for Public Affairs Jonathan Grella went on to include in the issuance of their statement on Customs and Border Protection’s announced implementation of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015:

“The US travel community supported the VWP measures passed by Congress late in the year as smart and sound enhancements to the program.

“The VWP has always been a shining example of the fact that the balance between security and freedom is not a zero-sum choice, and we welcome an informed and clear-eyed congressional discussion about the next logical steps for growing the program.”
