It’s official: The Jakarta attack on tourism was conducted by ISIS. In a statement the terror group posted:
“Islamic State fighters carried out an armed attack this morning targeting foreign nationals and the security forces charged with protecting them in the Indonesian capital,” Islamic State-affiliated Aamaaq news agency says via Reuters.
In this attack a Canadian citizen was killed in the Jakarta attack, police said, as cited by local media. Dutch foreign minister Bert Koenders said a Dutch citizen has been seriously injured in the attack.
