Copa Airlines begins flights to Santa Cruz, Bolivia and Aruba

PANAMA CITY, Panama – Copa Airlines began new flights today from Panama and connecting cities on the American continent to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Aruba, Copa’s 44th and 45th destinations.

PANAMA CITY, Panama – Copa Airlines began new flights today from Panama and connecting cities on the American continent to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Aruba, Copa’s 44th and 45th destinations.

“We are extremely pleased to begin these new flights and to continue to offer our passengers the best route and scheduling options in America,” said Joe Mohan, Copa Airlines commercial and planning vice president. “Copa has the most extensive business and leisure route network on the American continent.”

The new flight to Santa Cruz will depart Panama on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 8:42 pm, arriving in Santa Cruz at 2:27 am. The return flight will depart Santa Cruz on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 4:28 am, arriving in Panama at 8:43 am.

Copa Airlines will operate a Boeing 737 Next Generation jet on the flight to Santa Cruz. The Boeing 737-700 has seating for 124 passengers, 12 in business class and 112 in the main cabin. The spacious aircraft has wide overhead luggage compartments, seats with adjustable headrests, and a 12-channel, audio-video entertainment system.

The new flight to Oranjestad, Aruba will depart Panama on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 12:02 pm, arriving in Aruba at 2:54 pm. The return flight will depart Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 4:50 pm, arriving in Panama at 5:36 pm.

Copa Airlines will operate an Embraer 190 jet on the flight to Aruba. The Embraer 190 seats 94 passengers, 10 in business class and 84 in the main cabin. This comfortable, modern airplane has two seats on each side of the aisle, with no middle seat.
