BERLIN, Germany – This year again, guests flying with airberlin on all international routes will be permitted to carry a Christmas tree at no extra charge. The tree can be up to two metres in length and must be declared at least 48 hours before departure by calling the airberlin service center. This service is especially popular among flight guests traveling to Spain. Guests are also permitted to bring their Christmas trees on long-haul flights.

During the pre-Christmas season, mulled wine will be offered to flight guests on board all airberlin flights between Germany, Austria and Switzerland starting at 4 p.m. An Aachener Printen gingerbread will be offered as a Christmas snack.
