Pegasus’ newest destination: Makhachkala

LONDON, England – Turkey’s leading low cost airline, Pegasus, has now added Makhachkala, the largest city in the Northern Caucasus, to its flight network.

LONDON, England – Turkey’s leading low cost airline, Pegasus, has now added Makhachkala, the largest city in the Northern Caucasus, to its flight network. With the addition of Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, a Republic of the Russian Federation, Pegasus has increased its number of destinations in Russia to five and the total number in its network to 103. Operating four times weekly scheduled flights between London Stansted and Gatwick and Makhachkala via Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen, the routes are now open for booking.

London flights connecting to Makhachkala via Istanbul depart from London Stansted at 13:20 and from London Gatwick at 11:45 on a four times weekly schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with the flights connecting on from Istanbul at 21:20. The flights return from Makhachkala Airport at 06:00on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, Makhachkala stands out as an off-the-beaten-track destination to discover and is famed for its natural beauty, mountains thermal pools and mild climate.

In addition to Makhachkala, Pegasus’ destinations in Russia include flights from London via Istanbul to Krasnodar and Moscow, as well as flights from Bishkek to Novosimirsk and Yekaterinburg operating under Pegasus’ partnership with the Kyrgyz airline Air Manas.
