PANAMA CITY, Panama – Copa Airlines will begin service today (Monday, December 1) from Panama and its connecting cities on the American continent to Valencia, Venezuela.

Valencia is Copa’s 43rd destination and its third in Venezuela. Copa already offers service to Caracas and Maracaibo.

Copa’s new flight will depart Panama at 11:44 am, arriving in Valencia at 2:22 pm. The return flight will depart Valencia 4:50 pm, arriving in Panama at 7:52 pm.

“This new service will boost commerce between Venezuela’s third-largest city and Panama and the rest of Latin America,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines. “Valencia is home to Venezuela’s major manufacturing companies and industrial zones, and its strategic location makes it an attractive business destination.”

Copa will operate an Embraer 190 aircraft on the flight. The Embraer 190 has seating capacity for 94 passengers – 10 in Business Class (Clase Ejecutiva) and 84 in the main cabin. This comfortable, modern aircraft has two seats on each side of the aisle and no middle seat.
