Pegasus adds Israel’s Eilat to its network

LONDON, England – Pegasus Airlines has added Israel’s Eilat (Ovda Airport) to its expanding flight network bringing its total number of destinations to 101.

LONDON, England – Pegasus Airlines has added Israel’s Eilat (Ovda Airport) to its expanding flight network bringing its total number of destinations to 101. Pegasus’ flights to Eilat, its second destination in Israel after Tel Aviv, are launching on 1 December 2015, with three times weekly flights scheduled between London Gatwick and Stansted Airports and Ovda Airport via Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport.

Flights between Ovda Airport, Israel’s second largest airport located in the Southern part of the country, and London Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen will operate three times weekly from both Gatwick and Stansted. Fights from London Gatwick and Ovda Airport will depart at 11.45 from London Gatwick on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and return from Ovda Airport at 04.00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights from Stansted will depart at 13.20 from London Stansted on the same days as Gatwick, and return from Ovda at 04.00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Israel’s tourist town Eilat is famed for its coral reefs where guests can enjoy a variety of watersports such as diving and snorkelling, as well as ultimate relaxation on its long stretches of beaches on the Red Sea. Pegasus connects Ovda Airport to a total of 61 destinations via Istanbul: 42 international destinations: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Basel, Bologna, Bucharest, Budapest, Brussels, Cologne, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kharkiv, London Gatwick, London Stansted, North Cyprus – Ercan, Lviv, Lyon, Madrid, Marseille, Milan – Malpensa, Milan – Bergamo, Moscow, Munich, Nice, Nuremberg, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Pristina, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, St. Etienne, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Tirana, Vienna and Zurich – and 19 domestic destinations Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Batman, Bodrum, Dalaman, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Elazığ, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hatay, Izmir, Kayseri, Konya, Malatya, Samsun, Trabzon and Van.

Together with the new destination of Eilat (Ovda Airport), Pegasus now flies to 101 destinations including 68 outside of Turkey in 40 different countries.
