DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The Florida Association of Destination Marketing Organizations (FADMO) recently announced Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Tom Caradonio as a member of the board of directors. Caradonio was elected by the membership as CEO Director at the 2015 annual meeting of the FADMO in Key West, Florida.

“Tom’s background and experience will be a terrific asset to the association, and the perspective he brings from his community will provide crucial input as we address issues impacting Florida’s tourism industry,” said FADMO Executive Director Robert Skrob.

“I’m honored to be joining the board of this prestigious organization,” said Caradonio. “The work that Robert and his team do is instrumental in keeping Florida and its many varied destinations in the spotlight and moving forward.”

The FADMO serves as the single unifying voice for all of Florida’s destination marketing organizations, providing insight and direction as Florida faces new challenges marked by an increasingly competitive tourism marketplace. Organized in 1996, FADMO strives to increase the overall effectiveness of Florida destination marketing organizations’ efforts. Its stated mission is to provide cooperative action to enhance and encourage the growth of Florida’s destination marketing industry through promoting tourism industry education, enhancing professionalism, facilitating the exchange of information between Florida DMOs, developing an awareness of legislative issues and unifying the state’s DMO industry through public relations.
