the appointment of two key executives of the management team.

Hotel Manager – Fintan O’Doherty

Mr. Fintan O’Doherty, an accomplished hotelier joins the Meritus Mandarin with effect
from 17 November 2008, as the Hotel Manager, where he will assist the General
Manager, Mr. Raymond Ang, in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hotel such
as the Rooms, Front Office and Food & Beverage divisions.
Backed by 20 years of international hospitality experience, Fintan has held executive
management positions in operations and food & beverage, with over 10 years of
experience at hotels in the United Kingdom such as the Hilton Manchester Airport,
Copthorne Tara Hotel in London and Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel Covent
Garden. Fintan also spent three years at the River Palace Entertainment Complex in
Kiev, Ukraine as Food & Beverage Manager where he was responsible for setting all F&B
standards and subsequently took on responsibilities for Sales and Marketing and
Reception.
Most recently, Fintan was Director of Operations for Hilton Chongqing, China and prior to
that, he was the Director of Operations for Hilton London Green Park.
In his new capacity, Fintan will be tasked to maintain the Hotel’s finest level of
hospitality through the consistent delivery of its signature Asian grace, warmth and care.
A native of Ireland, Fintan received his MBA from Durham University Business School
and an Honours Degree in Management from the Trinity College of Dublin.

Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications and Public Relations
– Lim Ee Jin

Ms. Lim Ee Jin has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Marketing
Communications and Public Relations of the Meritus Hotels and Resorts with effect from
1 November 2008. Her corporate appointment will be held in conjunction with her
present appointment as Director of Marketing Communications with Meritus Mandarin
Singapore.

Ee Jin joined the Meritus Mandarin from Marina Mandarin in February 2008, to oversee
the Hotel’s communication strategies, working in tandem with the Sales & Marketing and
Food & Beverage divisions. Ee Jin first joined Marina Mandarin in March 2006.

Following her new appointment, Ee Jin will oversee the Public Relations and Marketing
Communications functions, including the consistent delivery of the Group’s hospitality
experience across all brand building touch points, and the enhancement of the brand
equity through strategic platform initiatives.

A graduate with an Honours Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the
Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, Ee Jin last worked at Swissotel The
Stamford, Raffles The Plaza and Ogilvy & Mather.
