JAL Group revises flight frequency, fleet plans for FY2015

TOKYO, Japan – JAL Group (JAL) today announced revisions to flight frequency and fleet plans on both international and domestic routes for fiscal year 2015 (ending March 31, 2016).

TOKYO, Japan – JAL Group (JAL) today announced revisions to flight frequency and fleet plans on both international and domestic routes for fiscal year 2015 (ending March 31, 2016).

In regards to the airline’s international network, JAL will introduce JAL SKY SUITE 777 aircraft on Tokyo (Narita) – Sydney route and Narita = Jakarta route from the end of October in response to the growing demand. Additionally the airline will operate JAL SKY SUITE 787 aircraft on Narita = Moscow route from February 2016, which will result in JAL SKY SUITE aircraft operated on all its Europe routes. Furthermore, JAL will provide new service-Premium Economy on Narita – Hanoi route from the end of October, and Narita – Moscow from February 2016.

In regards to the airline’s domestic network, JAL will adjust its flight frequency plan on select Japan-domestic routes in response to the seasonal demand primarily to and from Tokyo (Haneda), Additionally, the airline’s well-received JAL SKY NEXT service will mainly expand onto more domestic routes to and from Haneda.

JAL will continue to embrace new challenges to enhance its networks, and improve the quality of the products and services aiming at delivering a more convenient and comfortable travel experience to customers.
