PARIS, France – Air France has announced that it will be flying its A380 to Mexico with the launch of daily flights from next March. Initially the airline will operate three times weekly from 1 January.

The Airbus A380 aircraft offers 20% more seats than the Boeing 747 currently in use on the Paris Charles de Gaulle to Mexico route. It also allows passengers the option of traveling in four long haul flight cabins: La Première, Business, Premium Economy and Economy. For the summer 2015 season, Air France’s 10 Airbus A380 aircraft are flying to eight destinations (Los Angeles, New York-JFK, San Francisco, Washington, Abidjan, Johannesburg, Hong Kong and Shanghai).

During this summer the Air France-KLM Group is offering up to 23 weekly flights to Mexico City from Paris and Amsterdam Schiphol, including seven frequencies operated by Aeroméxico from Charles de Gaulle to the Mexican capital that code shares with Air France.
