NASSAU, Bahamas – If you’re heading to Nassau, Bahamas, anytime soon, you won’t find it difficult to get to Arawak Cay to enjoy Goombay Summer Festival.

Goombay Summer Festival is a summer festival filled with Bahamian music, games, dancing and even a Kiddie Heritage Village for the little ones.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has made getting there easy by partnering with the Prince George Taxi Association to transport passengers attending the festival in 15 state-of-the-art air-conditioned vans.

The participating shuttles are clearly marked and could be seen arriving at any hotel in Nassau and Paradise Island as well at the Prince George Wharf that accommodates cruise ships.

The courtesy shuttle operation runs every Friday in August from 4:00 p.m. – midnight.

There is a designated drop off and pick up location at the entrance of the festival site.

Guests are met and welcomed by festival greeters, who will provide additional information and directions to the festival.

For more information or to book the shuttle service, guests can visit their hotel concierge, the Ministry of Tourism’s Information Desk at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) and the cruise port in downtown Nassau.

If you’re in Nassau call (242) 423-9523 for more information. International visitors heading to The Bahamas can call 1-800-Bahamas or visit the Bahamas summer festival website.
