SEOUL, South Korea – Food Week Korea is celebrating its 10th anniversary this November with the biggest show yet. Around 1000 companies from 30 different countries, including 10 from ASEAN countries, are expected to join this year’s show, bringing more opportunity for buyers interested in Asian business opportunities than ever before.

Food Week will be hosted at the Coex exhibition center and consist of four shows: Food Week Global, Seoul International Bakery Fair, Seoul Cooking and Dining Show, and Food Week TECH.

The 10th anniversary show will put healthy food on the table, offering visitors a chance to learn about maintaining a healthy diet while saving both time and money. Focusing on recent food trends, exhibitions will feature a range of styles and products for making simple, natural flavors that light up the palette and set the stage for a healthy future.

Food Week Korea operates a number of cultural food programs in order to increase business opportunities for national food enterprises. The show helps exhibitors and participants establish new business networks, exchange information and technology, and establish new food trends by holding multiple, related shows under one roof.

Food Week Korea 2015 is expected to continue the success of last year’s show, which improved exhibition participation through an item-based organization of the exhibition and targeted marketing for overseas buyers. Last year’s show produced 521 B2B meetings and 89.6 billion won in profit. Food Week 2015 will continue this successful trend and act as a bridge to cutting edge technology and trends through special events, such as the international food forum. Participants can expect to see a more diversified show that will shine a light on Korea’s premium food culture.
