UK visitor numbers to Colombia up 24 percent

BOGOTA, Colombia – UK visitor numbers to Colombia increased by a massive 24% in January to May of this year.

BOGOTA, Colombia – UK visitor numbers to Colombia increased by a massive 24% in January to May of this year. There were a total of 15,187 UK tourist arrivals compared with 12,258 in the same period in 2014. The huge increase follows an annual increase of 28.5% year on year when comparing total UK visitor numbers for 2014 against 2013.

UK holidaymakers are taking advantage of the excellent air links to Colombia with Avianca now operating seven direct flights a week to the Colombian Capital Bogota from London’s Heathrow. Visitors can also fly indirectly to Colombia with a variety of quality airlines including KLM, Iberia, Air France and Tap Portugal.
