HAWAII, USA; BRUSSELS, Belgium; VICTORIA, Seychelles; BALI, Indonesia – The International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) is putting its support toward helping Nepal through the Green Growth & Travelism (GG&T) Summer School which will take place at the University of Hasselt in Belgium from August 24-28, 2015. Places are still open for the Summer School.

ICTP is sponsoring the visit of Pankaj Pradhananga to this yearโ€™s GG&T Summer School. He is an alumni of the school and the President of the new ICTP Himalayan chapter in Nepal.

He has been at the heart of the constructive industry response to the recent earthquake and produced the moving video NEPAL: A SAFE AND CAPTIVATING DESTINATION.

He will lead the debate about the real world challenges of dramatic change and the vision of a sustainable future that has emerged in Nepal.

He will be joined by Tom Goldberg, MBE, Chairman of SUN ARK, who will discuss his revolutionary, โ€œout of a containerโ€ solar-powered building and its place in disaster and climate response.

ICTP President Professor Geoffrey Lipman will also participate in this discussion, along with Ignace Schops, President of Europarc Federation and Goldman Award winner. They will talk about the SUN Program for Green Growth & Travelismโ€™s transformation locally and internationally.

There are still a limited number of places open for the Summer School which will be held in the beautiful town of Hasselt close to Brussels and will include visits to the National Park and the European Parliament.
