HONOLULU, Hawaii – The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) has released a series of mid-year Market Update Videos from each of its global contractors for Korea, China, and Taiwan.

These videos include travel trend insights, upcoming in-market promotions, and opportunities to partner for the remainder of 2015.

Korea

Total arrivals from Korea declined 4.6 percent to 70,472 visitors through May 2015, while total air seats also declined 17.2 percent to 117,689. China

A spike in air seats from Beijing (+76.8% to 35,937) during the first five months of the year helped to increase arrivals from China by 4.3 percent to 66,749 visitors. To learn more about current market conditions and opportunities to partner with Hawaii Tourism China, watch this video.

Taiwan
