Asia’s largest airline launches daily direct JFK – Guangzhou flights

NEW YORK, NY – Asia’s largest airline, China Southern Airline, just announced the launch of daily direct flights from New York’s JFK to Guangzhou International Airport.

NEW YORK, NY – Asia’s largest airline, China Southern Airline, just announced the launch of daily direct flights from New York’s JFK to Guangzhou International Airport. To mark the addition of this service, China Southern Airlines is giving away hundreds of Red Silk Cotton Tree flowers, the official city flower of Guangzhou, in Herald Square on June 25th at 3PM.

Beginning June 23rd through September 11th, the airline will offer 10 nonstop flights each week between the two cities. China Southern Airlines’ new direct service marks the first daily flight from Southern China to America’s East Coast.

The daily flights depart from JFK International Airport’s Terminal 4 at 11:15 AM and arrive in Guangzhou at 3 PM the following day. There are also an additional three flights per week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during June 23rd to September 11th, 2015. These three flights depart at 1:45 AM in JFK and arrive at 5:45 AM the next day.
