Global beverage giant, the Coca-Cola Company, is sponsoring the inaugural Food & Hospitality Expo 2009, which runs from January 13 - 15, 2009 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Mr. Shibu Thomas, trade marketing manager for Coca Cola, Bahrain and Qatar, signed the sponsorship deal along with Ms. Debbie Stanford-Kristiansen, acting CEO for the Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) and Mr. Mahesh Bhatia, BECA project manager for the Food & Hospitality Expo 2009.

This premier event is in response to the strong demand from the GCC region targeting food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Bahrain’s location puts it in proximity to some of the biggest markets of food exporters and suppliers of hospitality equipment and makes the island an ideal meeting forum for buyers and sellers from this region.

Traders and representatives from some of the most reputed names in the industry will be attending the expo, which will provide an opportunity to identify the market, strike lucrative deals, and extend and strengthen business networks all within one exhibition.
