Desroches Island Resort of Seychelles being sold

Desroches Island Lodge Limited (DIL) announced that it has concluded negotiations for the sale of the hotel and business situated on Desroches Island, subject to the government of Seychelles’ consent and approvals.

The resort will continue to operate, manage, and market in the normal manner for the remainder of 2015, but envisage handing over possession and control to the new owners on January 11, 2016. DIL will, therefore, not take any further bookings beyond January 10, 2016 accordingly. The new owners will close the hotel for a period during 2016 in order to rebrand, refurbish, and enhance the facilities.

For bookings already confirmed after January 10, 2016 the resort will endeavor to find suitable alternative accommodation and contact those guests in due course.

DIL will continue with educationals until the end of the year so visitors should feel free to contact the resort to arrange a visit and experience the magic of Desroches.

The resort is in the process of looking at all barters entered for 2016, and where applicable, it will contact guests with alternative options.
