Saudia lifts airline guests’ dining experience to new levels

Saudia Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is pushing the culinary limits skyward for its passengers.

Saudia Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is pushing the culinary limits skyward for its passengers. The airline will have chefs onboard its flights to create a dining experience to be remembered while flying at 36,000 feet.

In-flight chefs will be providing meal service for flights to and from Los Angeles International Airport starting May 28, 2015 for all Saudia flights between Saudi Arabia and LAX.

A chef will be represented on the menu itself and will work on each flight in the First Class cabin. He will take meal orders for all First Class guests, and interact and acquire feedback from Business and Economy Class guests as well. Need a vegetarian meal? Want something special for dessert? No problem. The inflight chef will make it happen.

Using his culinary training and chef skills, meals will be expertly created and plated for a true dining experience. Having a chef onboard will allow airline guests greater flexibility with their meal preferences as well as with the timing of their meals.

All chefs are fully qualified and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in noted restaurants and hotels from around the world. Chefs come from Australia, India, Italy, Jordan, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey, with more undergoing training.

There are more plans to be revealed in the future that will extend this chef service for the culinary delight of Saudia’s airline guests.
