SAS makes emergency landing in Aberdeen

The Boening 737-800 was flying from Dublin, Ireland, to Oslo, Norway, as SK 4604 when the pilot contacted Aberdeen, Scotland, air traffic controllers about a problem and declared an emergency around 1:10 pm Sunday afternoon.

The plane then flew across central and eastern Scotland before landing safely in Aberdeen around 1:40 pm.

Air traffic controllers receiced a request for emrgency services be on standby when the plane landed.

The plane landed safely, and no injuries were reported.
