International carnival groups from countries around the world including from China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Germany, U.K., Brazil, Mauritius, and Reunion Island performed along local performers and many children’s groups from the host country, Seychelles.

It was a day of songs, dances, and fun. Awards were given to Seychelles kid groups and schools for the best performance. Locals and the thousands of tourists to this island paradise visiting from all corners of the world participated.

Freedom square was a busy place on this hot Sunday afternoon. Local food specialties, drinks, playgrounds, and everywhere people were dancing, singing, and having a great time.
