MCLEAN, VA & NEW YORK, NY – Today, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Harper’s BAZAAR launched a year-long partnership that weaves Waldorf Astoria’s 26 resort and hotel properties throughout the pages of the magazine, as well as the website and e-commerce shopping experience. The innovative program, a first for both brands, is centered on multiple destination-inspired editorial stories that bring consumers a unique blend of the best in both fashion and travel. Readers will have the opportunity to purchase the featured styles and travel experiences through Harper’s BAZAAR’s e-commerce store, ShopBAZAAR.com/Waldorf.

For the first time since the launch, customized travel packages created by Waldorf Astoria will be available for purchase in addition to clothing and accessories featured in the editorial.

As part of the year-long partnership, Waldorf Astoria will host Harper’s BAZAAR’s editors at two of the brand’s landmark properties, Southern California’s La Quinta Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort and Waldorf Astoria Chicago, to create fashion spreads inspired by each distinctive resort and destination. As part of the partnership, shoppable editorial well stories are scheduled to run in the May and November issues.

May’s issue was shot by noted international fashion photographer Miguel Reverigo, and features leading model Lily Donaldson. The story incorporates fashions inspired by the location and the season, highlighting designers and fashion houses including Chloé, Gucci, Balmain, Ancient Greek Sandals, Fendi, Altuzarra, Oliver Peoples, Versace, Wes Gordon, Theory, Sonia Rykiel, Aurelie Bidermann, and many more. The November issue has not yet been cast.

Both brands will also be sharing content through social media channels, blogs, and a dedicated e-mail campaign.
