The new American landmarks are all about being green
NEW YORK, NY – The new American landmarks, all of which are changing the traveler’s landscape with modern, environmentally-tuned design, have been named by Travel + Leisure magazine.
Nancy Novogrod, editor-in-chief of Travel + Leisure, said, “Green design has really come into its own during the past few years, not only for its high-tech, energy-efficient sustainability, but also, just as important, as an aesthetic ideal - green is not only good for the planet, but can be beautiful, too.
