The first semi-final of the 60th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest will be held on May 19, 2015. The show producers decided that Moldova represented by Ukrainian singer Eduard Romanyuta will open the contest with his song “I want your love.”

The artist admitted that he is happy to open the 60th Eurovision Contest. It is a great honor for him and his team. “I’ll make the show unforgettable!” Eduard added.

On February 28, 2015 Ukrainian singer Eduard Romanyuta has won the finals of the Moldovan Eurovision selection contest with song “I want your love”, which was specially written by Swedish authors. The video on YouTube: http://youtu.be/mVN723iwj8c.

Eduard Romanyuta is multifinalist of Ukrainian selection for the Eurovision, among his achievements is the third place in 2013 national finals.

Eduard actively cooperates with European music publishers, including “Universal Music Publishing”, “Roasting House Music”, “Jazzell Music” and many others. The result of this collaboration is Romanyuta’s audiovisual album “Conspiracy” released in 2014; it includes 13 tracks and 7 music videos.

On March 28, Eduard Romanyuta’s single “I Want Your Love” was released by top European label Universal on digital platforms iTunes, Spotify, Yandex.Music and others. Only few tracks of 2015 Eurovision participants (among them – representatives of Great Britain, Russia and several other countries) were exclusively pre-released under direct agreement with Universal. Other tracks will be published in Universal album only on April 7.

Along with his creative work, Eduard is successfully studying at the post-graduate school of TNEU and is working on PhD thesis in international competition of tax systems of Ukraine in the context of Euro integration.

In the First Eurovision Contest semi-final Eduard will compete with representatives of Greece, Macedonia, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Armenia, Serbia, Denmark, Belarus, Romania, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be the 60th edition of the annual musical event. After Conchita Wurst’s winning in 2014 Austria became the host country. The contest will be held at the Wiener Stadthalle, which has an overall capacity of approximately 16,000 people.

The Second semi-final of the contest will take place on May 21. The viewers will choose the winner of the 2015 Eurovision Contest during the final show on May 23.
