HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today approved a fine of $15,000 against Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, Inc., operator of Parx Casino in Bucks County, for allowing underage gambling at its facility.

The fine was the result of an approved Consent Agreement between its Office of Enforcement Counsel and Greenwood Gaming, and involved two instances of permitting individuals under the age of 21 to access its casino floor and gamble:

โ€ข September 11, 2014 – a 20-year-old female gained access to the gaming floor then gambled at various slot machines;

โ€ข November 24, 2014 – an 18-year-old female gained access to the gaming floor then gambled at a slot machine and attempted to gamble at a table game.

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the PGCB’s Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.
