Congress, meeting and event sector gathered in Istanbul

One of the most important gatherings of congress, meeting and event sector, ACE of MICE Exhibition, was organized at Istanbul Congress Center on February 26-28, 2015. Within the exhibition, the most prestigious awards of the sector, ACE of MICE Congress, Meeting and Event Awards found its owners.

Congress, meeting and event (MICE) sector is growing constantly in the world and sector’s biggest international gathering ACE of MICE Exhibition was organized for the second time this year. The exhibition was held at Istanbul Congress Center on February 26-28 and gathered sector professionals both from Turkey and the world.

ACE of MICE Exhibition is organized by Tourism Media Group and is coordinated by Tatu Event to increase the recognition of MICE sector. The exhibition began with an opening party on February 26 at Volkswagen Arena and 1,500 guests attended.

This year, the exhibition held event planners and congress organizers from 25 different countries including Spain, Azerbaijan, Austria and Greece. 325 stands were opened by hotels, event management, stage-décor-stand-design and application, transfer, periodical HR, sound-light-image, video and digital solution companies and 262 attendees organized 27 panels, seminars, conferences and network gatherings at 3 different halls.

SECTOR’S SURVEY ENLIGHTENED IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Within the ACE of MICE Exhibition, this year, a survey was conducted with the attendance of hundreds of people operating in congress, meeting and event areas. The survey enlightened important information on the sector and its results were announced at a press conference which was held at Istanbul Congress Center on February 26.

Within the exhibition, ACE of MICE Congress, Meeting and Event Awards were given on February 27, Friday. There were more than 150 applicants to four categories; Meeting Management Companies, Meeting Support Companies, Hotels and Events. This year’s best of the best received their awards in 23 different branches. More than 3,000 guests attended the glorious award ceremony which was held at Halic Congress Center.
