Tourism, hospitality and outdoor products: Rimini Fiera is getting ready to host (from October 8 to 10) the largest marketplace in Italy for the travel, hospitality, and leisure time sectors. In fact, for the first time, TTG Incontri, SIA Guest, and Sun, three leading expos in the respective sectors, will be held simultaneously, enabling trade members to concentrate their contacts with the entire relative product chains in three business days.

TTG Incontri, now at its 52nd edition, is the largest tourist trade fair in Italy and one of the top five Europe, SIA GUEST (64th edition) is the major International Hospitality Exhibition, SUN (33rd edition), is the key international exhibition for the outdoor product sector.

Last year, the combination of TTG Incontri and SIA Guest was a success: 60,158 trade visitors (certified figures) (+18%) with over 1,100 international buyers from 60 countries, 2,700 exhibitors, 700 journalists and 300 bloggers. In 2015 the overall expo space will reach 100,000 square metres.

Rimini Fiera SpA Chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni comments, โ€œOur growth strategy shared with the trade starts off from the unanimous positive feedback received last year, when we held SIA GUEST alongside the great TTG Incontri to integrate the products and service offered to trade members. We are now adding SUN, one of our portfolioโ€™s historical expos, in order to further complete an industrial project with furniture for outdoors and open air products.โ€

The exposโ€™ traditional focuses have been confirmed and strengthened.
TTG Incontri will feature the proposal of over 130 tourist destinations in European areas, The World, Global Village and Italy: the last of these areas is the large marketplace for Italian tourist facilities in the world and has three themes to enable companies and areas to promote themselves directly with the international operators interested in product clusters: Culture, Food & Wine and Wellness. There will also be a considerable increase in Mediterranean business in the world, thanks to networking between the exhibitors involved in this area and international buyers of this product.
Lastly, there will once more be TTG Next, the area dedicated to innovation, new technologies and start-ups where, for the second consecutive year, in partnership with Milan Polytechnic School of Management, there will be a preview presentation of the Digital Tourism Observatory; and Travel Blogger Destination Italy (TBDI), the event for bloggers and the development of social strategies in tourism enterprises.

SIA GUEST, with 12,000 hoteliers and 44 hotel chains attending the last edition as visitors, will feature a practical modern expo layout, planned to integrate the product chains of interest to the hotel world in the best possible manner. The 2015 edition has three themes: SIA Hotel Management, a course of in-depth executive training with master classes and seminars dedicated to the hotel tradeโ€™s professionals and organized in collaboration with top-grade trade partners; SIA Breakfast Show, the key role of breakfasts in hotels; SIA Trend, trends and scenarios described by authoritative trendsetters and experts; SIA Green, focus on energy saving and eco-compatible design, new materials and products for eco-sustainable hotels; SIA with the Guru, lectures and master classes with the most important innovators in the hotel industry; SIA Technology, round tables and debates on technology and innovation for hotels. Among the important partnerships already confirmed, those with the EHMA (European Hotel Managers Association), the international association whose members are over 450 top managers from the most prestigious European hotels; Federalberghi, historical patron of SIA Guest; ADA, the Italian association of Hotel Managers AMIRA, the Hotel and Restaurant Maitre association.

The combination with SUN is the new 2015 feature at Rimini Fiera and responds to a desire on behalf of the market and exhibitors, for a closer contact with the contract world and members of the tourist trade. There will be two key sections: Camping & Village and Sea.

Paolo Audino, Rimini Fieraโ€™s new tourism business unit manager, explains, โ€œWe are at work on staging a great appointment of use to the entire tourist trade, under the banner of consistence and business opportunities, and which, as is the tradition, will be completed by an expo with the worldโ€™s most innovative contents. We have had very positive feedback from the companies during our sales activity – the Rimini Fiera event is the annual appointment awaited by the companies for concentrating relations and new really effective development opportunities.โ€
