INDIA (eTN) – The 5th 21 Gun Salute International Vintage Car Rally on February 21 and 22 has attracted a record number of over 225 entries, including many from abroad, like Malaysia, the UK, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and France. The event is also becoming a favorite among tourists to India.

Several vintage beauties are coming from Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Bikaner, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Kanpur among other cities, Madan Mohan, the man behind the grand event, told eTN.

The rally will be flagged from the historic Red Fort in Delhi, and culminate at the Leisure Valley Park in Gurgaon, after passing through Teen Murti, National Art Gallery, and Rajghat.

The collectors pride will be shown at the rally, Mohan said. He is one of the largest collector of cars and has created a name in trying to preserve the heritage of the country.

Madan Mohan said his vision was to promote heritage among the younger generation, and the rally was part of that.

The presence of car club members and royal family members will be a highlight of the rally.

The 21 Gun Salute is a plush, ethnic, well-designed restaurant in Gurgaon, serving authentic Rajasthan and other cuisine.

The rally is sure to be a tourist event and a big attraction for the participants.

Apart from his interest in and contribution to the vintage car movement in the country, Madan Mohan is one of the biggest players in the car rental business.

His passion in cars dates back to his childhood, and he has been able to give it a practical shape.

He makes it a point to go to almost all the car-related events in the world and has visited most of the car museums.
