Some 15 million Internet users in France will be eligible to cast their vote until the 23rd of this month, to determine the winners of the 2015 edition of the coveted “Travel d’ Or” which recognized excellence in service delivery and many other aspects.

Reunion Island first got their hands on the trophy in 2012 when they were voted as the best in the category of “Applications and Tablets” for their 3600 app before regaining the top spot last year for their new website becoming the “Most Preferred” in France.

This year Reunion Island has been nominated in the category of “Best Tourist Office,” and the islanders are confident that they will prevail against some 300 competing sites and make it once again to the top, considering how ingeniously they marketed Reunion Island’s attractions last year.

The websites of selected destinations which entered the contest will be judged by Internet users, according to the general impression, usability, readability, access to information, the response time, and the range of content offered. This year’s contest will consider Reunion Island’s new site which was launched on January 9, showcasing and highlighting the major attractions of the island, while offering enhanced services for Internet users and mobile platform users.

Said Reunion Island Tourism (IRT) about how to participate in the vote: Visit the site of Golden Travel to elect your favorite travel website. Check out www.reunion.fr to get all the information you need to plan for a holiday on Reunion Island.
