Isabel Maria Borrego Cortes, the Secretary of State for Tourism in Spain, met with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, on the sidelines of FITUR, the Spanish Tourism Trade Fair.

The two heads of tourism and the Spanish Minister met on several occasions. Tourism Ministers at the 2015 FITUR also this year met with the Prime Minister of Spain and with the Spanish King and Queen.

Minister St.Ange said after meeting with Isabel Maria Borrego Cortes that he was happy to see how the Spanish leadership was taking tourism at heart. Spain last year received 65 million visitors – a success they all say is the result of the whole country working together for their tourism industry which is today playing a very important part in the economy of Spain.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) .
