ETOA – the European Tour Operators Association – has appointed Paul Rickard as a Research Consultant to direct their leading industry insight projects.
Paulโs career has included roles in TV marketing, research publishing, market research and strategy consultancy. Most recently, he held the post of Tourism Analyst at London & Partners, formerly Visit London, for five years, where he was responsible for market and trends evaluation, behavioural insight and visitor forecasts.
On his appointment Paul said: โI am delighted to be joining the European tourism association. Intelligence is a vitally important aspect in enabling businesses to make key decisions about contracting and product development. As global competition for visitors increases, I am confident that Europe can maintain its market position through informed decision making, ensuring maximum return on investmentโ.
