VADODARA (TVLW) - The suspension of train-bus services between India-Pakistan has created problems for Pakistani nationals who had come to the districts of central and south Gujarat to celebrate Eid and meet their relatives.

Train services between Munabad-Khokhrapar, the Samjauta Express and Lahore-Delhi bus services were suspended after the assassination of former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto on Thursday last.

This decision, for a temporary period, was taken by the Union Home ministry in the wake of the reports of violence claiming several lives in parts of Pakistan.

Abdulgani Abdul Rashid Munshi and nine members of his family including women and children from Hyderabad, Pakistan, were on a short visit to Bharuch, Surat and other places for meeting their family members and relatives staying there.

Before expiry of their visa on December 28 last, Munshi family reached Jodhpur in Rajasthan for catching the Khokhrapar-Munabab train to go back to Pakistan.

They had already booked their tickets on this train. and it was only later that they came to know about suspension of the train services between the two countries. They are stranded in Jodhpur for last three days and do not know what to do now.
