FCCA finalizes 15th annual Cruise Conference and Trade Show
PEMBROKE PINES, FL - The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association is gearing up to host the year's premier industry event October 27-31, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trinidad. The 15th Annual FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show has a full agenda, expected to attract over 1,200 cruise industry partners and more than 100 cruise executives from the FCCA Member Lines.
This year's trade show is already 90% sold out. Housed in the state-of-the-art convention facilities at the Hyatt Regency in the capital of Port of Spain, the event showcases Caribbean and Latin America destinations, services and products and represents a primary business venue for vendors and member cruise lines spanning the globe from Europe to the Caribbean.
The Conference includes a series of round table discussions hosted by executives from the FCCA Member Lines. Topics covered will be marketing, shore excursions and operations. Of particular interest this year, guest speakers will focus on the economic forecast for the cruise industry as it relates to the well-publicized American economy. Top-level executives, including the FCCA Chairman and Chairman & CEO of Carnival Corporation, Micky Arison, will share their expertise.
The SeaMiles FCCA Golf Tournament, slated Tuesday, October 28, has become a significant leisure event to meet top executives in an exclusive, casual atmosphere. Set at the Trinidad's Millennium Lakes Golf & Country Club, participants play in a foursome hosted by a cruise executive with proceeds benefiting the FCCA Foundation for charitable programs.
Additional interactive and social events include bidding on cruise vacations at a fraction of the cost, plus mix and mingle sessions for delegates and member cruise executives during evening functions, and pre-and-post tours around both Trinidad and Tobago.
